Desrae Richter, a nationally certified USA Boxing silver-level coach - official - and referee is living her best wellness life! Her journey began a decade ago when it was suggested that she try boxing as a therapeutic resource. As a sexual assault survivor, she knows the depths of how emotional despair affects the body. She understands the devastating cycle of living a dysregulated dissociated reality of being trapped in a body of trauma. Wellness has so many components and she has spent the past 10 years studying somatic healing, movement, exercise science, physiology, athletic performance, combat sports, hormone therapy, nutrition, the holistic medical model, aging, and injury/disease prevention.
It is Desrae’s passion to empower plus equip anyone who wants to journey toward wellness, but she has a special place in her heart for those who struggle with boundaries, are spiraling in shame, or feel lost in the dark. She believes everyone can thrive beyond the shake and wants to share what she has learned on her healing wellness journey gone from just surviving to thriving!

Boxing & Krav Maga
There are many differences between combat type sports and self defense skills with the exception of one! Functional tactical training gives a physical edge like no other. Training for competition or with direct contact is NOT necessary to experience the physical benefits of a work out with boxing and Krav Maga elements.

Physical Ed / Kids
Learning to battle a sedantary lifestyle begins in childhood. As a mom, licensed substitute teacher, who has past youth ministry experience as well as being the admistrator for an organization that provided applied behavior analysis in child development services Desrae “gets” kids and teens. Even the most competitive kid still needs a play based environment to thrive where their “kidness” is appreciated within appropriate boundaries as they strive toward autonomy and soverighnty.

LIVING QUAKE PROOF
For any structure to withstand an earthquake, it has to be built with a flexible foundation. The foundation of all Quake training and fitness programs are built from an understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental maturity of the individual partner centered around isolating “the why." This allows for greater focus on the progression of goal achievement which creates “lift.” Lift is the mindset that keeps the partner consistent, steady, and sturdy.

Entails recognizing the activity that optimally aligns with your comprehensive wellness objectives, encompassing the physical movement that brings you pleasure.

Fostering Foundational Elements
Involves constructing and enhancing the fundamental aspects of flexibility, strength, endurance, and stamina that are vital for the chosen movement and activity based on scientific research on maximized goal progression.
Step 3
Evolving Proficiency
Revolves around progressing and integrating a diverse range of activities, fostering the body's innate ability to acquire wider skills and capacities across various movements.
Step 4
Empowering the Body
Centers on fortifying the body with deliberate movements designed to shield against injuries, preempt illnesses, and alleviate some of the symptoms associated with the aging process.
About 70% of the body consists of fluids that need to be in motion for survival. The body is designed for movement as it maintains a natural rhythm, flow, and cycle of these fluids, crucial for functions such as circulation, digestion, metabolism, and immunity. This interconnectedness directly influences overall health and well-being. On the other hand, a sedentary lifestyle hampers mobility, which in turn encourages muscle wasting, eventually leading to deterioration.
